Hello, there! I'm Mark Hernandez. I taught high school English for 25 years, have earned two degrees from Stanford, and love teaching grammar.

My approach to teaching grammar has always been based on two beliefs: first, every student could benefit from this material; and second, very few get excited about it. (At first.)

I start by giving your student five streamlined and user-friendly ebooks that cover the rules of English.

Then, I give your student access to 50 practice sentences that they can work through at their own pace. (I designed the curriculum so that, if they so desire, students can complete the class in a day. I'd recommend spacing the lessons out over at least a few weeks.)

After your student has worked through a practice sentence, they watch a video of me not only correcting the sentence, but also explaining the rules and logic behind the corrections.

In fact, because there often are several ways to arrive at a grammatically correct answer, I'll go through alternative answers and explanations, when applicable. (This is the most fun part for me.)
